'Memory transformation' was a project based on Romualdas Granauskas 'Third life' essay. Writer was born in 1939 in a small city of Lithuania and had a difficult childhood during the war. Essay “Third  life” includes many memories from those days.

Quirks of memory?

  I have been capturing moments which reminded me of moments from the novel with my phone. It could have been green grass that Granauskas was writing about. Or my own memories from the days we were struggling for the Independence of Lithuania and fear of repression evoked by the novel.
